Molly McKeen, PMHNP-BC
Molly McKeen, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified child and family psychiatric nurse practitioner with 7 years of experience working in the mental health field. She earned her master's degree from the University of San Diego in 2015. Since becoming a psychiatric nurse practitioner, she has been working in community mental health and outpatient clinics. She also has experience in school settings, hospitals, in home care, law enforcement and long term care facilities. Molly will see patients between the ages of 5-65. She primarily focuses on patients seeking the following treatments All ages: depression, anxiety, PTSD, sleep problems. Children/adolescents: ADHD

Molly believes mental health requires a partnership between the patient and provider. They work together to come up with a plan, which may include medication, different types of therapies, mindfulness, meditation or prayer, exercise, sleep hygiene, and nutrition. Molly will also collaborate with the patients other providers as needed.

Molly provides psychiatric evaluations and medication management. She has limited availability to provide psychotherapy and will refer out for those services.

Molly does not complete disability paperwork.

**Adults seeking care with Molly, that are currently prescribed benzodiazepines by another prescriber, should be aware, Molly's policy is to taper and discontinue all benzodiazepines in most cases due to their addictive and known detrimental effects on cognition.
